We work with 4th-8th-grade students in and around Coral Springs, helping them tackle everything from everyday subjects to Algebra 1.

The kind that helps them crush their goals, chase their dreams, and become the leaders, innovators, and changemakers they're meant to be. And those messages we get years later from former students? Math Intervention Specialist
I’m Veda, and I LOVE math and middle schoolers. You may be thinking, "Math and middle schoolers? That's a crazy combination!" Yes! It is! Now, toss mindset mentoring into the mix, and you have the cornerstone of Confident Calculators. I help middle schoolers (grades 6-8) build their math skills, adjust their attitudes, and develop a love for math and themselves. I also provide 1:1 tutoring for students in grades 3-8 and Algebra 1.
As a classroom teacher for over 20 years, I saw the need to do more than teach math to my students, but due to the breakneck speed of the curriculum, nonstop testing, and the impact of politics on education, I couldn’t always help them in the ways I felt they needed most.
So in 2021, after resigning from the classroom and moving to sunny Florida, I created Confident Calculators. Now, I wake up every day excited about the opportunity to educate, empower, and equip middle schoolers with the skills to ace math, build self-confidence, and manage their mindset. I love what I do!
While I love all of this, I have a life too! When I'm not working with middle schoolers on math and mindset, you can find me singing off-key at karaoke, breaking out of escape rooms with friends, celebrating milestones with my kids, and serving my community as a Finer Woman of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., all while enjoying brownies, Thai food, and dancing!
